Why aren’t Democrats yelling from the rooftops about this?
Pssst … hey, Democrats … stop wringing your hands for a moment and listen up. Wanna win against Trump, Musk, and the Republican Party? Here’s a few things that are happening that you should not only know about but take advantage of.
Let’s start with President Musk. Ya know that he has about a gazillion dollars worth of contracts with the very government that he is steadily dismantling, right? How about another $400 million contract with the State Department?
What for you ask? I’m glad that you asked. It’s for a fleet of armored Tesla trucks. Yup, those weird-ass looking trucks that nobody wants to buy. Musk only sold 39,000 of them last year. Do you think it’s the $80,000 price tag or the looks? I’m voting for the looks. Nobody wants to pay that much for a vehicle that looks like a funky refrigerator on wheels. Are you supposed to drive it or get ice water from it?
So, anyways, can you say “conflict of interest?” I mean, should the person who is rooting out fraud and waste from the government be awarded a big-ass contract by that same government for a bunch of vehicles that nobody else wants to buy?
