There is no bug. Medium is throttling traffic and earnings so that they don't have to pay their writers. Medium has never made money for its owners. Robbing writers is their last ditch effort to keep the company afloat. It's not working because all of the big writers who earn the most money have left or are in the process of leaving. You can expect Medium to go out of business within 6 months to a year at most.
