There’s idealism and then there’s reality. Idealistic companies started with the best of intentions are getting a cold, hard slap from reality. There’s a reason that capitalism is survival of the fittest. Perhaps instead of harshly criticizing idealistic startups, it would be more constructive to concentrate on what worked and how those positive experiences could be incorporated into a new standard of capitalism, one that is less harsh while benefiting everyone instead of a select few.
