They used to be known as "come to Jesus meetings." Leadership would have a meeting with recalcitrant members behind closed doors. The members would come out of those meetings looking like Trump always looked after meeting with Putin, completely deflated. Problem solved. Unfortunately the Dems no longer have leaders that are strong enough and respected enough to pull it off.
