He was a failure all along
What is it they say about ending not with a bang, but with a whimper? Because, in the end, what will bring down Trump is not a guilty verdict in a criminal case, but a ruling in a civil case by Judge Arthur F. Engoron that Trump committed business fraud; that he lied, as he has so many times, but this time, it was illegal and will cost him his business, money, and his reputation.
Top that, Jack Smith! You can’t, can you? If Trump is found guilty in either of your cases, he won’t go to jail. No one, not even you, has the balls to throw Trump in jail and throw away the key. The worst he would get would be home confinement wearing a gold-plated ankle monitor; home confinement that would still allow him to run his business and continue to lie, cheat, and steal as he has done his entire life.
But New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, a woman, and Black, the three things that Trump hates most, found Trump’s weak spot. The spot that will end up destroying him and his chances of being re-elected.
Why? Because he has finally been exposed as the business failure that he has been desperately trying to hide from the world.
