Trump Gets Called to the Principal’s Office
Will there be a gag order?
Okey dokey, it’s time to talk about the first former president in U.S. history to be arrested and charged with a crime. 34 crimes to be exact.
You know Trump. He always has to have the biggest or the best or the most beautiful or whatever. So, no one should be surprised that the first of what may eventually be four indictments, is for 34 crimes.
I’m not going to bore you with an analysis of the crimes that he is being accused of nor will I bore you with my thoughts on the consequences of arresting and charging Trump. I’ll leave that to the other writers on Medium.
Instead, I would like to offer up my thoughts on what happened on that day that will live in infamy until the next Trump outrage.
First of all, I want to say that the Secret Service is absolutely no fun. They refused to allow Trump to be handcuffed. The entire country wanted to see Trump in handcuffs and the spoilsports on his protection detail said no. I wanted to start a chant:
We want handcuffs.
We want handcuffs.
We want handcuffs.
The Secret Service refused to leave his side. In a half empty building. Why? At this point…
