Trump Is Crushing It in the Polls

DeSantis is falling farther and farther behind

Some very bad news was released today. A new New York Times/Siena College poll shows that among Republican candidates running for president, Trump is leading at 54%, while DeSantis, his closest rival, has slid to a dismal 17%.

In other words, DeSantis is losing ground to Trump with each new poll. Even in a head-to-head race between just Trump and DeSantis, Trump leads with 62% and DeSantis is a distant 31%.

So if DeSantis is slipping, who might take his place to challenge Trump? Right now, it looks like no one. After DeSantis’ 17% comes:

Mike Pence — 3%

Tim Scott — 3%

Nikki Haley — 3%

Vivek Ramaswamy — 2%

Chris Christie — 2%

Everyone else earned 1% or less.

So, what’s the bad news that I am talking about? Simply that it looks more and more each day as if Trump will be the Republican candidate. No one even comes close to knocking him out of first place.

Each new indictment makes him more popular because he has convinced his supporters that he is being falsely accused and the indictments are being used to knock him out…
