The pundits are saying that Trump is afraid of Harris. That he doesn’t know how to campaign against her. That he is afraid he will lose to her.

Yeah, no.

Ya know what Trump is really afraid of? Being replaced on the Republican ticket like Biden was replaced on the Democratic ticket.

Trump is well-known for projection. If you want to know how he is feeling about something, pay attention to what he is saying about other people.

He’s been obsessing about Biden’s exit from the race. He blames it on a cabal of Obama, Pelosi and Harris. Remember, Trump values loyalty above all else. He now appears to be afraid that people he considers loyal to him will turn on him like Democrats turned on Biden and force Trump from the race.

“The presidency was taken away from Joe Biden. I’m not a fan of his, as you probably have noticed. He had a rough debate. But that doesn’t mean that you just take it away like that.”

Since when has Trump ever sympathized with someone else’s misfortune? Is he afraid now that one misstep and Republicans will force him out?

He refers to Harris replacing Biden as a coup. It wasn’t, but in Trump’s mind, if he were…
