Trump is Unravelling
He is in full panic mode
I’m going through a lot of popcorn these days. The Trump Show is really heating up. I thought we had reached the end-of-season cliffhanger episode when he announced that he was going to be arrested the following week.
I made extra popcorn and cancelled all my plans for that one. Mugshot! Handcuffs! Perp walk! But, alas, it was not to be.
The possibility of being indicted has really rattled Trump. He is coming unraveled. Watching his meltdown happening in real time is kinda like watching “my Kevin” McCarthy enduring 15 votes over four days to win Speaker of the House. Monotonous and exciting at the same time.
Let’s do a brief recap of what Trump has been up to recently.
So, on Saturday, March 17, Trump announced that he was going to be arrested on Tuesday, March 21 after a lengthy investigation and grand jury proceeding in New York.
Trump also called on his supporters to “Protest, take our nation back.” Shades of Jan 6.
Alas, the luck of the Irish wasn’t with him. Trump was not arrested and only a pitifully few supporters showed up in New York City and Mar-a-Lago to protest. In New York, the anti-Trump protestors outnumbered the pro-Trump protestors.
