Trump Plans to Re-Order the Government Giving Himself Absolute Power

As if you needed another reason to fear Trump being re-elected, take a look at what he plans to do once he regains office. He spells it out on his website. I’ll spare you having to read all of it and outline a few of the highlights here.
Trump wants to resurrect the idea of the Unitary Executive Theory. This theory was developed during the Reagan administration. Basically, it rejects everything we were taught about our government. According to this theory, there are no three co-equal branches of government which use checks and balances on each other.
Under the Unitary Executive Theory, Article Two of the Constitution gives all power to the President. Yeah, just a little radical. The reason why Reagan’s team came up with this was in the name of deregulation.
They wanted to get rid of the independence enjoyed by government agencies that mandated clean water and air, a safe food and drug supply, and ensured the safety of consumer products.
