Trump Wants MTG to Run For Senate
He says that he will fight like hell for her
So Trump held his first campaign rally in Waco, Texas and his speech was the usual rehash of his grievances. But he did say one interesting thing. He asked Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) if she was interested in running for Senate.
WTF?
MTG in the Senate? Minority Leader Mitch McConnell would have a stroke! The Senate has always been the more serious, deliberative chamber. MTG, who has Trump on speed dial, is a swamp creature who belongs in the House with all of the other swamp creatures.

But when I thought about it, it makes perfect sense for Trump to suggest that she run for the Senate representing Georgia. The most important reason that he would want her to run for the Senate is to solve his vice presidential dilemma.
It is well known that Trump wants a woman for his vice president this time around. It is equally well known that when MTG looks in the mirror, she sees a vice president staring back at her.
As much as she supports Trump and as hard as she campaigns for him, she is a terrible pick as his vice president for the simple reason that she draws too much attention to herself…
