Trump’s Executive Orders May Kill Us
His back to the fifties ambitions is putting us all in danger
Trump wore out a few Sharpies yesterday signing Executive Orders. While they are all concerning, there were a few that I found especially egregious.
Top of my list is his withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement. I know that he did this during his first term, but 2024 was the hottest year on record so it matters a lot more now than it did eight years ago.
For the record, we have joined Iran, Libya, and Yemen as the only countries in the world who are not part of the agreement. What is it that they say about being judged by the company you keep?
Combine this little hissy fit with the other executive orders he signed wiping out Biden’s climate initiatives and expanding oil and gas production and you have a planet destroying president intent on making money for his billionaire friends no matter the cost to the rest of us or our home.
Just remember, Donnie. In the end it doesn’t matter how much money you make. You can’t take it with you when you die.
