Trump’s Poll Numbers are Up Since He Was Indicted
DeSantis continues to lose traction in the polls
Time for a poll! And it’s a doozy. Trump gets indicted, the first ex-president … or president, depending on where you fall on the stolen election issue … to be indicted on criminal charges in the entire history of the U.S. 31 charges! That’s some serious shit.
So one would expect, if one were a normal person, that his standing in the polls would take a nosedive. But there is nothing normal about MAGA morons. According to a Yahoo News/YouGov Poll taken immediately after the announcement was made that Trump was being indicted, saw his popularity rise among Republican and Republican leaning voters.
And the Dark Lord, Ron DeSantis, sank. I’ve heard that he is a “wooden” speaker. I was never sure what that meant until I saw some clips of him declaring that the indictment was un-American and that the state of Florida would not extradite Trump.
Now, most politicians would be shouting and waving their arms. DeSantis looked like a kid being forced to give a book report on a book that he hated. A monotone delivered with a white-knuckled grip on the lectern.
I may fall asleep during the debates.
