Walt Nauta Still Doesn’t Have a Lawyer
Trump is holding up the search and the trial
Ya gotta feel sorry for Trump’s valet, Walt Nauta. He probably thought that he had hit the jackpot when he was promoted to be the valet to the President of the United States. It doesn’t get any better than that.
But it did cuz when Trump left office, he hired Nauta to continue in his valet position. Wow. Valet to a former president and very rich businessman. Nauta was livin’ the dream.
He did everything he was told, including non-valet duties like hiding … I mean moving …boxes of documents around Mar-a-Lago. Trump assured Nauta that when he was moving boxes of documents from a storage area to Trump’s bedroom, that it was perfectly legal. Just a little bedtime reading.
Then, when it turned out that not everyone thought hiding boxes of stolen documents was legal and Nauta found himself under indictment, Trump told him not worry. He would pay for a lawyer for him.
Nauta has been working for Trump for a few years now and he should know that Trump is the stingiest S.O.B. on the planet. There’s no way in hell that he would pay for a lawyer for Nauta or anyone else unless there was something in it for him.
