What Happened to Mitch McConnell?
Is the Grim Reaper coming for the Grim Reaper of the Senate?
So, I wrote a little something a few days ago about the abysmal state of Biden’s physical health. More than a few of you felt that it didn’t matter. He has done a great job and deserves a second term.
Others archly reminded me that FDR did a bang-up job while using a wheelchair, conveniently forgetting that he died in office. I refrained from reminding you of that troublesome fact because it’s so annoying when I’m right.
So, today I‘m writing a little something on the abysmal state of Mitch McConnell’s physical health. Let’s see if you are as passionate about that as you are about Biden’s health.
McConnell, by the way, is older than Biden at 81 but intends to run for re-election in 2026. Quick reminder — senators serve for six years which would make McConnell 90 in 2032.
The internet is all abuzz over McConnell’s freeze during a news conference. Mid-sentence. Just stopped talking. Stared blankly at the reporters.
He stayed upright and was able to walk away, so it appears that his body was fine. His brain just stopped working for a few moments.
