Why do you think that there is no way to validate an election that uses mail-in ballots? The signatures on the ballots are compared to the signatures in record just like when you show up at the polls in person. You sign in and your signature is compared to the one on record.

There is literally no difference. Are you saying that in-person ballots also cannot be validated?
