While everyone has their panties in a twist over the bombshell DOJ report claiming Biden is not competent to stand trial, has anyone been paying attention to what has been going on in Judge Aileen Cannon’s Florida courtroom? No? Let me fill you in.

You will recall that Cannon is the judge assigned to preside over the case of the stolen documents recovered from Trump’s private club/home/lair Mar-A-Lago. She was appointed by Trump and obviously has her eye on a seat on the Supreme Court.

She has blatantly favored Trump in her rulings, giving him everything he has wanted short of a lap dance. And I’m not so sure about that lap dance. Meetings in judges’ chambers tend not to be publicized, so she could have given him that lap dance and we wouldn’t know about it.

Unless Trump spilled the beans. He does like to brag, so maybe he hasn’t gotten that lap dance. Yet.

Anyhoo, when asked by Trump’s lawyers to release unredacted versions of Jack Smith’s discovery documents, Aileen of course granted their wish … er, motion. And Jack Smith immediately filed his own motion against unredacting (yes! That is a word!) the documents.
