Will Nikki Haley Run as the No Labels Candidate?

It’s the logical next step to satisfy her presidential ambitions

Third party spoiler, No Labels, is still hard at it. Despite losing its two top choices for presidential candidates. Democratic senator Joe Manchin has decided not to run for president and former Republican governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan, wants to run for the Senate.

But No Labels was not discouraged and held a virtual meeting with more than 600 delegates … not sure why they’re called delegates if there is no candidate … led by Mike Rawlings, a Democratic former mayor of Dallas.

The meeting was supposed to be “off the record and for delegates only.” Obviously, someone talked. And what they said was a little disturbing. Delegates compared what No Labels is doing with “Abraham Lincoln delivering the Gettysburg Address and the Founding Fathers during the American revolution.”

One delegate, from Idaho, of course, even went so far as to opine:

“We need to move forward with this unity ticket for the good of our country. We can’t announce this ticket soon enough.”

Just like they couldn’t announce the end of abortion in Idaho soon enough.

Sorry, couldn’t resist.
