Pete Hegseth’s candidacy is circling the drain
Hoo, boy. Have you seen what’s going on with Trump’s pick, Pete Hegseth, to be Secretary of Defense? All sorts of shit is coming out about him. None of it good. His own mother was disgusted with his behavior, although she has now recanted.
This is what happens when you don’t use the FBI to do background checks on people. The FBI lives to dig up dirt on people. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had contests on who can find the worst offense by whoever they are investigating.
Trump chose Hegseth because he not only looks the part, but he’s a fucking war hero with the medals to prove it. A real man’s man. Ya know, everything that Trump isn’t but wishes he was.
But that chiseled jawline comes at a price. In Hegseth’s case, it’s a serious drinking problem and fiscal irresponsibility with a hint of sexual assault thrown in. He has a reputation for drinking so heavily at public events that he can’t walk. And two veterans’ organizations that he headed up were in the red financially by the time he left. His own mother has accused him of abusing women, while he had to pay off a woman who accused him of rape.
