Wisconsin Republicans Are Trying to Unlawfully Remove Democratic Officials
They don’t like their stances on abortion and voting
What the hell is going on in Wisconsin? Did a bunch of Texans move in? Cuz the Wisconsin Republican legislature has gone all Texas crazy and wants to impeach a newly elected Supreme Court judge and fire the top state elections official.
Come on. This is MAGA morons Texas-style, not people who run around wearing cheese-shaped hats; who consider being called “cheeseheads” a compliment. Did the cheese get rancid or something?
Let’s tackle the judge first. Justice Janet Protasiewicz ran for office on a platform of legalizing abortion and getting rid of the gerrymandered voting maps that guarantee Republicans a permanent majority in the state legislature. Her election gave Democrats a 4–3 majority on the court.
Oh, wait. Yeah, I can see why the Republicans are on the warpath. Shit like that is like waving a red flag in front of a bull. Guaranteed to set them off.
