Yes, I am aware of the successful buy back program in Australia. It worked because mass killings are rare there and people were horrified. We have an entrenched gun culture here. To those Americans, taking away their guns is like taking away their children. I honestly don’t think that a buy back program will work here but we have to start somewhere.
