Yet Another Monument to Dictator Trump’s Ego

And my opinion on paying the military during the shutdown

I’m torn about what to write today. Do I want to talk about the implications of Trump’s order that the military be paid during the shutdown or do I want to rant about yet another Trump monstrosity being built in DC?

Actually, the first one is easy. The dictator wants to keep the troops happy and on his side for when he orders them to violate their oath to the Constitution and invade Democratic cities. They would be a hell of a lot less willing to do so if they aren’t being paid and are behind on their bills.

But keep the paychecks coming and they might come around to their Commander in Chief’s way of thinking. Be more amenable to turning on their fellow citizens, especially those troublemakers in blue cities and states.

The dictator has been contemplating invoking the Insurrection Act for a while now. It’s just a matter of time before he finds a flimsy excuse to invoke it.

Switching topics, I’ve decided that the dictator is dying and knows it. He’s mentioned his mortality a few times and has even admitted that he’s been told that he’s not doing well. And now there’s that second annual checkup that he had.
