You cannot use Hillary as an example of why women can't be elected president. She was extremely unpopular from her days as First Lady right through her two runs for the presidency. The Democrats operate on a system of seniority and it was "her turn" to run. Obama wasn't supposed to win the primary in 2008. They just needed someone to run against her.

And speaking of Obama, those same people who you cite would never vote for a woman, were supposedly never going to vote for a Black man for president, yet he was elected twice.
