What Happened to Mitch McConnell? — Part Deux
It appears that the Grim Reaper is indeed coming for the Grim Reaper of the Senate
Well, it happened again. Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell froze for about 30 seconds during a press conference. He just stood there, silent, gripping the lectern, and staring off into space.
He can’t just shrug it off like he did last time. And he can’t blame it on light-headedness or dehydration. According to medical doctors, neither one of those conditions would result in the symptoms we have seen twice … so far.
It makes one wonder. After the first episode, which McConnell’s aides tried to link to his fall and concussion in March, it came out that McConnell had fallen twice since then, but the public had not been told.
So, how many of these frozen episodes has McConnell really had? How many times have they happened out of the public eye?
McConnell is quite cagey about his health. When he fell in March, resulting in a concussion and broken ribs, he was in the hospital for five days and then rehab. He was absent from the Senate for weeks, but never gave any updates on his health the entire time.
